OBJECTIVES
 
To highlight the role of information and communication technology (ICT)
in the promotion of library and information services to the public to
bridge the digital divide. 
To identify public library services using ICT so as to extend these
services beyond the walls of the library and to narrow the gap between
the information rich and information poor. 
To share among public libraries in the Southeast Asian and Asian region
experiences in the developments in public library services with  the
rapid  developments in ICT.
