I don't know if others feel this way, but I would rather Update not be in
the members only section. I don't use the section that often and so when
Linda sends these messages out I have to struggle with remembering the
password, digging it out, trying again, etc. I don't think we want to make
Update that difficult to read. I realize the password is easy but so are
the other 15 passwords I have to remember for a variety of things.

Thanks to Jonathan Franklin's dizzyingly speedy work, the June issue of
Update is now up on the members-only part of the Society's web site:
http://www.arlisna.org/arlismembers/updatejun2003.html. This issue contains
a message from President Allen Townsend concerning diversity, a treasurers
report, the motions passed at the pre-conference Executive Board meeting as
well as reports from the Architecture Cataloging and Reference and
Information Services section, the Decorative Arts and Serials round tables
and a geogrpahical swathe of chapter reports: Mountain West, Northern and
Southern California, Ohio Valley, Western New York, and New England. The
issue concludes with a Bibliographic Notes column: an extensive annotated
list of web sites of publishers and distributors of books and other library
materials in the arts. Print it out and take it to the beach?
The print version will follow shortly.
