A library staff member found a black and white drawing -- possibly John
Trumbull's painting which shows the signing of the Declaration of
Independence in what is now called Independence Hall, Philadelphia, on July
4, 1776. The drawing features the committee that drafted the Declaration of
Independence -- John Adams, Robert Sherman, Thomas Jefferson (presenting the
document), and Benjamin Franklin -- standing before John Hancock, the
President of the Continental Congress.

The original painting is in color. The B&W drawing includes the following
words: "Lord storey & co. Chicago." Does anyone know if the "Lord storey &
co. Chicago" designates a particular printer and/or department store or
vendor?

Also, aside from Artfact, are there any FREE online art appraisal sites I
can direct this patron to--aside from she taking it to an appraiser. Don't
most of these sites charge to research an items such as this?
