Due Date: May 31, 2003

Prior to the 2003 Midyear Executive Board meeting, I will be preparing the
draft budget for ARLIS/NA budget year 2004 (January 1 - December 31).  If
your division, section, round table, or chapter will have extraordinary
expenses for projects, publications or meetings during Budget Year 2004,
requests for funding must be received by May 31, 2003 so that these
expenses may be considered by the Executive Board for inclusion in the 2004
ARLIS/NA Operating Budget. Please note that these requests do not include
funding for conference activities or sessions.

Special Project Funding is limited. Even if approved in principle, the Board
may decide to fund a portion or percentage of a given special funding
project.Consult the individual special funding guidelines for divisions,
sections, round tables, and chapters.Please submit a completed application
(below, or on the ARLIS/NA Website at :

If you anticipate a change in leadership in your division, section,
round table,
or chapter, please make certain to notify your successor of this request and
the documents which accompany it.All group and chapter contacts will be
notified of the outcome of their proposal once the ARLIS/NA budget has been
approved.
