Rijksmuseum Amsterdam:
Main Building, Print Room and Library temporarily closed - Philips Wing open

Due to the discovery of asbestos, the main building of the Rijksmuseum is
temporarily closed as a preventive measure to the public and staff from 29
April 2003. The Print Room, the library and the Reading Room of the
Rijksmuseum are therefore temporarily not accessible to the public.

The Philips Wing of the Rijksmuseum will remain open to 25 May 2003. Here
you will find the exhibitions 'Hendrick Goltzius; Drawings, Prints, and
Paintings' and 'Portraits in pastel' from Jean-Etienne Liotard, the
collection of Asiatic art and the presentation of European art at the
Rijksmuseum.
