Just wanted to say thank you to those who have written so passionately and intelligently to ARLIS-L this past week about the devastation to Iraq's cultural heritage, especially Lee Sorenson, Kerri Scannell, Jennifer Brasher, and robert e kelly. And Ruth Thomas too. And a special thanks to Andras Riedlmayer for summarizing the many pro-active actions being taken by cultural heritage organizations in the U.S. and around the world--and for suggesting some things we can do as individuals. In fact, I was glad to hear from everyone, including those with whom I don't agree. I am proud that our listserv provides a place in times like these for our rage and despair. Don't let the shush-shers win!!
