Dear all:
The Public Policy Commitee (PPC) is hard at work drafting a new
resolution about the destruction/loss of cultural treasures in
Iraq. We hope to submit this document to the Executive Board by
tomorrow. In drafting this statement, the PPC is looking to the
Archaeological Institute of America's Open Declaration on Cultural
Heritage at Risk in Iraq and other documents drafted by institutions with
similar concerns.
