The Frick Art Reference Library is pleased to host the New York-area
art catalogers' discussion group on Monday, April 7th, 2003 in the Walnut
Room at the Frick Collection, 1 East 70th Street. We'll meet from 3:00 to
5:00 p.m. Agenda items might include:
Review of cataloging sessions at Baltimore conference: LC-led
workshop, Cataloging Problems Discussion Group, Cataloging Section meeting,
Next Generation of Catalogers, Cataloging Advisory Committee, Private
Librarians and Library Consultants Discussion Group, Betwixt and Between:
Integrating MARC Data with Museum Object Records.
Brainstorming for New York '04. Possible topics for panel, paper,
plenary, poster, workshop sessions.
Coffee/tea and cookies will be available.
Nearest subway stops: #6 train at 68th and Lexington; N/R/W at 60th
and Fifth.
Enter through door in wrought-iron fence on 70th Street. Proceed
down ramp to staff entrance. Meeting room is on 2nd floor.
