Dear colleagues,

You are invited to Portland, Oregon, the city of roses, for the ARLIS/NA
Western Regional Conference, sponsored by the Society's Northwest, Northern
California, Southern California, and Midwest chapters.

The conference is organized around the theme, "Artworks/Bookworks: Craft and
Documentation in the Digital Age."

The conference features informative sessions, by distinguished speakers,
covering book arts as well as digital formats. A keynote event is a trip to
nearby Mt. Hood by way of the scenic Columbia Gorge. Sited on Mt. Hood is the
historic Timberline Lodge, a Depression-era handcrafted masterpiece.

Join your colleagues for a rare summertime opportunity to share and learn in
one of America's most liveable cities.

For more information, including a registration form,
visit the conference web site:

Registration is limited; deadline: June 15, 2003.
