The Cataloging Section will be meeting on Saturday March 22 at 5pm in the
Pratt Room at the Wyndham. This is an open meeting and all are welcome to
attend. The agenda follows. If there is anything you would like addressed
at the meeting please let me know; or bring it up during the meeting.

3. Discussion -- Role and Goals of the Cataloging Section
Now that Sections are no longer required to sponsor
conference programs, what is the role the cataloging section?
Cataloging Problems are discussed in the informal CPDG and
proposals to LC are handled by CAC, is there another function for the
section besides holding an annual meeting and electing officers?
Do we need to have a meeting at the annual conference? Or,
are ARLIS-L and e-mail sufficient?
