Good Afternoon
The Cataloging Section is looking for a new Vice-Moderator/Moderator-Elect
for 2003/2004 and a new Column Editor for the Cataloging Section column in
ARLIS/NA Update. Both these positions are a wonderful ways to get to know
your peers and to become part of ARLIS/NA.
The Vice-Moderator/Moderator-Elect position serves for two years; the first
year as the Vice-Moderator assisting with any tasks the Moderator may have;
and then the second year as Moderator, running the meeting at the annual
conference and doing other administrative duties.
The Column Editor position writes a column for ARLIS/NA Update three times a
year. The column is consists of timely information that is of interest to
catalogers, such as changes in AACR2, or new and revised Library of Congress
subject headings.
