A little late response to Lucy Harper, but perhaps still of interest to
anyone:
The ceiling painting in the Globe Theatre, London, depicts the Heavens,
with Zodiac symbols. The sun is in a corner, opposite the moon. The sun
is circular, with wavy rays!
We purchased some slides of the restored Globe Theatre from Hartill Art
Associates.
