There is the Comic Reseach Library, in Columbus Ohio. They are part of
Ohio State and mostly handle newspaper strips. I believe that the
University of Michigan may collect comic books, and Bowling Green has an
underground and popular culture collection with comics, but I'm not
absolutely positive. If you call down to the Comic Library at OSU, they
will probably refer you to collections with comic books.
