Maybe it's Franz Schubert's Symphony #9 (known as the
"Great" C Major Symphony), but more likely it's some
reference to a work by the illustrator Johann David
Schubert (1761-1822). J.D. Schubert did some famous
illustrations of Goethe's "Werther," and Neureuther
put out an edition of Goethe engravings,
_Randzeichnungen zu Goethes Balladen und Romanzen_,
so maybe Neureuther made engravings based on
Schubert's illustrations. Just a guess. . .
