Libraries Group is a not-for-profit membership organization
providing on-line
research products and services to over 160 member
institutions worldwide and
hundreds of organizations and individual
researchers.
RLG is seeking a
Program Officer to manage programs with member
institutions particularly
those in art, museums and related areas.
Responsibilities include creating
and managing programs to engage members
in collaborative activities such as
providing enhanced access to rare and
unique research resources.
The
successful candidate must have: Proven professional leadership and
knowledge
of the most current research and technology trends, and
information standards
development. The ability to manage projects and
promote outcomes, ability to
think creatively, to analyze and solve
problems, to work independently and
proactively within the strategic
framework and as a team player. Excellent
oral and written communication
skills and a willingness to travel about 60
days per year.
Required: A bachelors degree in the humanities or social
sciences or
equivalent combination of educational work experience, plus a
minimum 5
years employment in related professional position. Additional
academic
achievement is desirable.
Salary Range: Minimum $67,500,
Midpoint $87,700, Maximum $105,240.
