Digital Reality III: Building the Community

NELINET invites you to participate in the digital event of the
season! NELINET's successful Digital Reality Conference series
returns in a new two-day format. Come and hear our panel of
experts discuss the issues affecting the future of online digital
collections.

* Day One features presentations from national, international, and
local experts providing guidance in the creation of useful,
interoperable, and sustainable digital collections.
* Day Two is an opportunity to participate in Working Groups that
will help shape the future of collaborative digital collections in New
England.
* You may attend Day One without attending Day Two, but we ask
that you attend Day One if you plan to attend Day Two.

Speakers:
* Laurel Thatcher Ulrich, Phillips Professor of Early American
History and Director of the Charles Warren Center for American
History at Harvard University, and Pulitzer Prize-winning author.
Her work is also featured on the award-winning website

* Liz Bishoff, Project Director, Colorado Digitization Project
* Simon Tanner, Senior Consultant, Higher Education Digitisation
Service (HEDS), University of Hertfordshire, who will discuss the
economics of digital libraries

Center
* Taylor Surface, Director, Digital Content Management, OCLC
