POSITION:                               Library Assistant (grant funded)

DEPARTMENT:                     Libraries/Archives
REQUIREMENTS:   Minimum two years library experience (MLS candidates preferred). Knowledge of relational databases and application of technology in library/archives setting. Experience with library automated systems, such as Voyager, and RLIN and MARC formats. Experience with technological training is desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor Degree required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:       Working with BMA Library staff, responsible for assisting in the implementation and enhancement of the on-line library management system (Voyager). Assists in training BMA staff to use a library on-line catalog. Assists with correcting and adding bibliographic records, report generation, resolution of authority records and implementation of system modules. 



WORK SCHEDULE:          Part-time for 4 years
