Meeting at their joint conference this year in St Louis may be

The Town Meeting, entitled, "The Changing Research and Collections
Environment: The Information Commons Today," focused on the history
and meaning of the "information commons," a free public resource, and
how it intersects with licensing, one of the prevailing mechanisms
for distributing digital resources today.
