Dear Fellow Librarians:
What do you do when a patron does not return an unavailabe o/p book? I have a student who did not return "Passion and Line" by Howard Schatz (orignal cost of this book was $50.00) I cannot currently locate a replacement copy. Typically when this happens, I charge the student the amount it costs to replace the out of print title. Please share what you do when this situation arises. Thanks in advance.
