It's still July, but thanks to Jonathan Franklin's amazing efficiency, the
August issue of Update is now available on the Society's Web page:
http://www.arlisna.org/updateaug2002.html. Features include columns from the
Academic and Art and Design School Libraries Divisions, reports from the
Canada, Central Plains, DC-Maryland-Virginia, and Montreal-Ottawa-Quebec
chapters, a memorial of Edith Hampel, and, in Bibliographic Notes, a
substantial list of recent publications and Web sites in Art Education.

If you had indicated that you wished to receive Update in paper, but have
discovered that you can use the Web version, please consider notifying
headquarters to drop your paper subscription; the money spent on printing and
mailing can be used elsewhere!

Thanks for your attention. And happy summer.

Linda Zieper
Update Editor
