It is my pleasure to announce that after 20 years as director of the
National Museum of Women in the Arts Library and Research Center (NMWA LRC)
I have stepped aside and assumed the new position of Curator of Book Arts.
My successor is Sharon Wasserman who served as Deputy Director of the LRC
since 1999. Sharon previously worked at the National Gallery of Art Library
and at the United States Department of Transportation Library. During her
tenure at the NMWA, Sharon made many outstanding contributions to the
development of the LRC. Among her accomplishments were automation of many
library procedures and the introduction of the LRC's OPAC .
And by the way we are not related!!!
