Can any of you who teach library courses to studio people recommend a good
text book or let me know if and how you have used any of the books I'm
considering below.?
I'm teaching a course to graduates for 7 weeks, and covering the basic
resources and searching stragegies which includes writing exercises. This
will help prepare them for researching and writing their theses.
I've thought about using Strunk and White, Elements of Style,
Writing about Art (Sayre) and Turabian for standards as well as Lois Swan
Jones, Art Information on the Internet (which could possibly too
overwhelming unless I pick and choose areas that are of interest to them).
Any suggestions welcome.
