Regarding my thought for a Balitmore program proposal, I have just secured
agreedment from our new faculty member to speak at our conference. He
sees his participation as leading to a published paper.
Professor, Terry Smith, currently on leave at the Getty. He comes to us
from Australia.
We would, of course, need to locate money to pay his expenses. Does
anyone have any ideas on sources for that?
Do any ARLIS colleagues have suggestions for other "top notch" speakers?
Again, I see this as something that could be sponsored by Academic
Libraries Division and the New Art round Table. Some ARLIS members have
told me off list that they are interested in learning about this subject =
Developing Collections in Contemporary Art.
