1. Announcements:
Susana Tejada, Co-Vice Moderator left Academic Library environment,
now active in Museum Libraries.
Liz Ginno had agreed to take meeting minutes. Thank you Liz!
***Be sure to attend Plenary Session II: The Three V's: Visual
Technology, Visual Culture, and Visual Literacy, co-organized by Kim
and Miguel -- promises to expose the issues, trends, and challenges of
concern to all visual art
professionals.***

2. Kim Collins takes over as Moderator for this session after Miguel
reads a short report and bids a warm farewell.
3. Nominations for Vice-Moderator for 2003, Deborah Ultan is running for
Vice- Moderator! Any challengers? We will also take nominations from the
floor.
4. Rebecca Price (Media Union Library, University of Michigan) has agreed
to continue as Update Column Editor.
5. Proposed sessions for 2003
Discuss Ray Ann Lockard's proposal on the special
challenges and opportunities for collecting in contemporary art.
6. Issues of concern in Academic Libraries: Budgetary concerns
7. Research projects members are undertaking.
8. Break into like-sized institutions and discuss related issues.
