Responsibilities: oversee library and visual resources; develop and manage collection; assess library policies and programming; manage library budget; supervise staff; develop bibliographic reference services and instruction; serve on SWITCH consortium LIT Committee. Required: ALA-accredited MLS, background in art, design, and/or art history; minimum three years progressively responsible library experience. Candidates must demonstrate: reference and bibliographic experience; knowledge and experience in circulation and online library systems, preferably INNOPAC; leadership and ability to maintain good working relationships; effective communication skills. Preference: knowledge of art bibliography; experience collecting visual resources and using electronic visual resources technologies; BA humanities, art history, visual arts, design; teaching experience; contribution to the library profession.
