Has anyone ever heard of an artist named Peter Orlando? A patron is looking for biographical data on this artist because one of his paintings, titled "Marais Salants a Saille," hangs in a collection on the Penn State-University Park campus. (See http://www.libraries.psu.edu/emsl/images/Untitled-2.jpg for an image of the painting). According to the only information the patron has uncovered, from a listing in an auction house on the web, Peter Orlando is a 20th-century American artist. I've consulted all the major biographical sources (Artist Biographies Master Index, Who Was Who in American Art, etc.) as well as a few other reference resources (Art Index, etc.) but have come up empty. Any information would be appreciated.
