I am trying to help out a friend with a question in an area I am not
familiar with. Although this is not an art question, I am hoping some of
you may be able to point me to some examples of 'web-based courses,' or to
institutions that offer them. I am not entirely sure what is meant by that
term, whether it includes 'for credit' courses, or 'continuing education,'
or 'distance education' courses, or if it includes MIT's 'open course ware'
project, which is described on its site, but is not yet at the example
stage. Ideally, I would like to find actual examples of such courses that
could be viewed. If any of you can help, it would be very much appreciated.
