Carol Rusk, Librarian of the Francis Mulhall Achilles Library, has arranged
an opportunity for all to view the current exhibitions:

*HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE PERMANENT COLLECTION
*ALEX KATZ : SMALL PAINTINGS
*CHARLES BURCHFIELD : WORKS ON PAPER
*H. C. WESTERMANN PRINTS
*SHARON HARPER : PHOTOGRAPHS FROM THE FLOATING WORLD
*ARTURO HERRERA
5 PM TOUR Elise Pustilnik, Docent Coordinator, will give members a brief
introduction to the Whitney's collections and introduce you to the current
exhibitions "Into the Light" and "Jacob Lawrence." Enter at the main Museum
entrance, 945 Madison Avenue, and look for Sherman Clarke.
6 - 8 PM PARTY If you plan to attend the Holiday Party, please enter at the
Museum Annex, 33 East 74th Street. Whitney security staff will direct you to
the Second Floor Meeting Room.
7:30 PM Festivities will wind down at 7:30, but guests who wish to view
exhibits or shop afterwards will be escorted into the Breuer Building.
Museum galleries, bookstore and gift shop will be open to the public until 9
PM.
Please bring a sweet or your favorite "finger food" dish.
Cheeses, bread, crackers, fruit and drinks will be provided.
If you plan on attending, please RSVP to Kraig Swartz, acceptances only, to
let us know if you will participate in the tour at 5 PM and/or plan to
attend the party at 6 PM.
