Following the procedures announced this week by President Ted Goodman,
the 2001 ARLIS/NA Nominating Committee (Sherman Clarke, chair; Janine
Henri; Natalia Lonchyna; Tom Young) presents the following slate of
candidates for office starting at the St. Louis conference, 2002:
Vice President/President Elect - Allen Townsend, Arcadia Director of
the Library & Archives, Philadelphia Museum of Art
Treasurer - Phillip Heagy, Director, Library/Archives/Bookstore, Menil
Collection, Houston
Canadian Representative - Irene Puchalski, Librarian, Shore + Moffat
Library, Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design, University of

West Regional Representative - Kay Teel, Catalog Librarian, Catalog
Department, Meyer Library, Stanford University
The ARLIS/NA bylaws allow for petition candidates. In order to nominate
“from the floor,” ten signatures of voting members are required.
Petition candidacies should be filed by October 1st with the
Nominating Committee by e-mail, telephone, fax, or mail to the address
below.
