Regarding book reviews in the online version of Art Index/Abstracts before
1984:
I compared our print copy of Art Index to a search in the database; there
are clearly very few if any book reviews from the 1960's and earlier,
unless I'm doing something wrong. Perhaps someone from Wilson could
respond rather than our trying to answer it deductively?
