the 3 minutes of silence, to the "Philosophy and Literature" list, but
dedicated to all the friends I have in the US:

At noon, an old man was in front of Notre-Dame with an old hand-made French
flag. He said: "My sister sewed it when the US Army liberated Paris with our
troops. Just wanted to show it as a tribute to those people. Without their
help, maybe this cathedral wouldn't be here any more."
