The logout button was recently introduced in response to librarian requests.
Dictionary of Art will automatically time-out after twenty minutes of no
activity. However, many librarians have said that they have been trying to
emphasize that users should log-out when they have finished with an online
session. And so, we've added the logout button. We will, in fact, be
revising the design of the button to make it more prominent. This version
was put on in its current incarnation simply to get it into the recent
update.

I have a question about the new web pages for Dictionary of Art:
There is a LOGOUT button on the bottom right of the first page; what does
this do? what happens if users do not click on this when finished?
If this is an important function for users to use in completing their
business, why not move the LOGOUT button higher on the page, in a prominent
position so that people will see it?
