WORKSHOP I: HOW TO DESIGN AND BUILD A POP-UP

Materials: (List of required materials will be sent upon enrollment)
A hands-on, step-by-step workshop on how to design and build pop-ups.
It is important for workshop participants to understand that developing pop-up design and engineering skills is a lengthy and dedicated process. A one-day workshop can only serve as an introduction to the materials and techniques of building pop-ups.
Morning Session: will be devoted to the basic principles and mechanics used in pop-up design. Stock with printed dielines will be provided for participants to practice cutting, scoring and gluing basic pop-ups.
Afternoon Session: will be devoted to getting participants started on an original pop-up design. As much one-on-one help as possible will be provided.
