Jeanne Brown ___ CALL FOR PAPERS ARLIS/Mountain West Regional Conference November 7-9, 2001 Las Vegas, Nevada ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The ARLIS/NA Mountain West Chapter is seeking proposals for presentations or workshops at its 2001 Annual Regional Conference in Las Vegas. Presentations addressing art and architectural topics related to Las Vegas and what it represents (e.g. popular culture, themed architecture) are especially solicited. Topics such as copyright/fair use, technology, management, digitization, web publishing, visual resources management, grant writing and funding, archives and preservation, collections management, art and architecture reference, and library instruction will also be considered. Proposals may also connect more than one area. Any other creative ideas outside the suggested topics are welcome! Please include: 1. Speaker's name, affiliation, address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail address. 2. Title of proposed paper. 3. Abstract of no more than 100 words. 4. Equipment request. Proposals may be submitted by e-mail, fax, or surface mail.
