I apologize for re-posting, but it seems my contact information didn't go out with my earlier message! I've copied it below. -aet ----------------------------- The Pitch: Curious about the latest trends in art cataloging? Have a thorny authority problem to discuss? Or do you just need to talk to someone who understands AACR2, LCSH, DDC, or Art NACO? And you're in the Midwest? Then read on! The Mission: I'm compiling a list of people who are interested in forming a Midwestern art cataloging discussion group. The Vision: I'd like us to get together once in a while and discuss the great art cataloging issues of our time, or at least the pesky trifles. The first meeting would take place here at the Art Institute of Chicago sometime in the fall (late September-ish), followed by occasional meetings at places to be arranged. The Response: If you are interested, or know of someone at your institution who might be, please respond to me off-list at [log in to unmask] You don't need to live, breathe, and eat cataloging, anyone who is interested in discussing art cataloging is invited to respond! -Amy ----------------------------- Amy E.
