LECTORIBUS SALUTEM PLURIMAM DICIMUS CUNCTIS

Invitation to visit our new bifurcate site:
www.naarhetleven.org

In the branch "ANALECTA" ( www.naarhetleven.org/analecta.htm ) you'll find a (growing) number of crucial documents (carefully transcribed, en sometimes in facsimile), brilliant - and often quite amazing - Letters to the Editor, useful summaries and wellinformed editorial comments, all of them quoted from issues of the former NAAR HET LEVEN BULLETIN (November 1970 - June 2000).

An Anthology commemorating a little impecunious samizdat press in Holland in its resistance to the largescale fraude (with respect to the reattribution of the series of the naarhetleven-drawings from Pieter Bruegel the Elder to Roelandt Savery) committed in 1970 at the instigation of Yale Professor Dr. E. Haverkamp Begemann and Professor Dr. J.G. van Gelder (Utrecht), and continued eversince with might and main and kept up in esteem ostentatively by their Dutch friends in scholarly publications, for instance even in the most recent Catalogues of the Rijksmuseum.

In this anthology www.naarhetleven.org/analecta/htm you'll find documented - truly "from the life" - the fascinating history of the unmasking of a prestigeous Yale dissertation research project that appeared to be based on impudent theft and that notwithstanding remained covered up by the highplaced Dutch art historians year-long with arrogant falsehood and with suppression of every form of discussion.

(The other branch, "ETSEN" - www.naarhetleven.org/etsen.htm - supplies information for our fellow-townmen and -women, in Dutch, about our traveling small-scale expositions in Amsterdam of original etchings, for the greater part picturesque town views of Old Amsterdam by mr. Frans M. van Leeuwen).

Please pass this message also on to your truth- and art-loving colleagues and friends.

Thank you for your kindly interest.
