I have agreed to write an article, "The Role of the Librarian in the Art
Museum," for the second edition of the Encyclopedia of Library
and Information Science," and would like to hear from
colleagues in art museum libraries who have thoughts about any elements
that should be included. If you are in a position where you have taken
on responsibilities outside the library, I would like to hear about them
as well.
I am also interested in getting the following 2 facts from as many art
museum librarians as possible:
When was your museum founded?
Was the library founded at the same time or at a later date (include
date)?
