Hi Marcy, Have you looked in the printed dictionary catalog of the Bibliotheque Forney in Paris? It is an artists' library that began in the 18th or 19th century. Mme Jacqueline Viaux was the head of it until she retired, and I don't know the name of the current head librarian. It's housed in a former castle or palace in the middle of Paris. I understand it is a quasi-museum, with wallpaper books, drawings, etc. I would expect them to have quite a collection of this art supply companies. G.K. Hall published the dictionary catalogue of their collection around 1976. We had it at U.C. Riverside. I know it's at Los Angeles Public Library and UCLA, so I assume libraries closer to you would also have it. Actually getting to see the catalogs may require a trip to Paris! Hope this helps!
