I am attempting to find the year of death for James Scott, a landscape
artist born in Milton, New York in 1889. The patron says he was a member of
the Salamagundi Club in New York with Louis Comfort Tiffany, fought in WWI
at Verdun, and lived in Littleton CO toward the end of his
life. He might have died in 1982, but this is what we are
trying to verify.WW.Artscape.com lists him, but does not give a final date.
Unless he is 112 he is probably not still among the living- this is becoming
mysterious. Anybody know anything?
