----------------------------Original message----------------------------
As the excitement of the 29th annual conference fades and you prepare to dig
out from under the work that has accumulated in your absence, I ask that you
take a few moments and prepare the conference reports for this year's
proceedings. The guidelines follow.
All reports should be in either MicrosoftWord or ascii text, attached to an
email and sent to me via email. The deadline for reports is May 15, 2001.
-------Guidelines---------
All Panel, AskArlis, and Plenary sessions should have a person who is
responsible for recording the session. The moderator(s) of each session are
responsible for ensuring that someone has been identified to record the
session prior to the beginning of the annual conference, if possible.
Conference reports should include the following information:
Session moderator(s)
Session sponsor(s)
Name and date (not day) of session
Speakers and their institutions or affiliations
A summary of each speaker's presentation and the URL's for any web sites
given
A summary of the question and answer session
Moderators/Chairs of Divisions, Sections, Roundtables and Committees are
responsible for ensuring that the minutes from their annual business
meetings are forwarded to the conference proceedings editor. These
moderators are also responsible for ensuring that someone has been
identified to record the minutes.
Minutes from business meetings should include the following information:
Name and date of the DSRT or Committee meeting
Names of officers, outgoing and incoming
Discussion of old and new business and any resultant decisions.
