Exhibition Catalog of Women of the Book: Jewish Artists, Jewish Themes,
containing the bookworks of 94 women artists from Australia, New Zealand,
Canada, United States, Italy, England, Israel and South Africa is now
available from the Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Friends of the
Library, Wimberly Library, Special Collections, P.O. Box 3092, Boca Raton,
FL 33431-0992. $20.00 plus $3.95 postage and handling.
96 pages, full color, biographies of all the artists, including an essay by
the curator, Judith A. Hoffberg, and an homage by the late artist David
Cole, plus the incisive and moving statements of the artists themselves.
The exhibition, curated by Judith A. Hoffberg, has been touring the United
States since 1997 and will open on 24 March in Minneapolis, at the
Minnesota Center for Book Arts and on the 25th March at the Jewish
Community Center.
