I am very pleased to announce that Daniel Starr will join the staff of
Watson Library as Manager of Bibliographic Operations. Daniel has played a
distinguished leadership role in our field and in ARLIS, and I am confident
that he will excel in this important leadership position in Watson Library.
I realize that news passes quickly in our community, and I know that many
ARLIS members knew about this weeks ago. However, I wanted to make this
formal announcement before the conference, and to express how pleased we are
that Daniel will be working with us. The staff of Watson Library, the many
librarians in the Museum's Departmental and Independent Libraries, and I
look forward to working with Daniel.
