Power blackouts? We ain't got no stinking power blackouts! Seriously, I know you've all been hearing about California's energy crisis. What you may not know is that most of Los Angeles, including our conference hotel, gets its power from the Department of Water and Power (DWP). The DWP has been selling excess power to less fortunate agencies for months now. It is possible if you are staying in other parts of the Greater Los Angeles area that you may, I stress MAY, be subject to some rolling blackouts. I understand that they last about an hour or so. However, none of that should have any impact on the Wilshire Grand and our conference. We are all powered up and ready for you.
