Really enjoying the bubblegum discussion.  I guess you could say that it is giving us "something to chew on".  Nyuk nyuk.

No decision yet on handling the bubble gum piece in TRANS, although I'm
leaning toward sandwiching it between two giant acid-free Mickey Mantle
baseball cards...

Did anyone else make my mistake of  initially thinking the piece was a
pink mouse pad "freebie"? (luckily I "caught the scent" before tearing
off the wrapper!)

I hesitate to chew the piece, fearing a toxic ink may have been used in
the "embossing" of the design (this from a guy who from time to time
merrily dissolves those starch-based shipping "peanuts" in his mouth to
the horror/disgust of his staff)

Anyway, I figure that either Paul McCarthy or we art librarians are
finally "on the bubble"
