Dear ARLIS-L colleagues,
I am looking for art libraries which are under the same jurisdiction as
Information Technology or Computing Services at their institutions. The
situation is that the two are part of the same unit, and have the same Dean
or manager. This is the case at my institution, California Institute of
the Arts. I am doing some writing on the subject and I want to better
understand how widespread the concept is, reasons why the two departments
may be one unit, etc.
If you are in a library which is merged with IT, please write to me
off-list.
