New York and Delaware Valley Chapters To Host Northeast Regional Meeting in
Philadelphia Area, May 13-14

The New York and Delaware Valley Chapters of ARLIS/NA, with the financial
assistance of the Society, will host a northeast regional meeting in the
Philadelphia area on May 13th and 14th. Please consider this posting a
preliminary invitation to join us for a panel presentation (with B. J.
Irvine & other panelists TBA) on Art Librarianship and Visual Resources
Curatorship in the 21st Century. The program will also include a gallery
tour (guided by Debra Cashion, Bryn Mawr College Visiting Professor) of the
exhibition "Leaves of Gold: Treasures of Manuscript Illumination from
Philadelphia Collections" at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Sunday
afternoon, May 13th, followed by a "welcome" wine and cheese reception. In
addition to the panel presentation, Monday's agenda will include informal
discussion groups, a luncheon, and exhibition and collections tours on the
campus of Bryn Mawr College.

We look forward to hosting this regional meeting, and hope to see many of
you there. Krista Ivy, Delaware Valley Chapter President and the meeting's
Program Chair will be distributing more information via ARLIS-L postings in
the next few weeks.
