Sarah Jane Pearman asks about the status of the digital version of the
Carnegies Arts of the US image collection.  The U. Georgia, which owns the
original photography, has digitized it and anticipates distribution via the
GALILEO site in Georgia.  Other distribution venues are being very actively
explored.  UGA and Yale are jointly migrating the cataloging data into
OCLC's CORC database, and are discussing with OCLC adding VRA Core to the
suite of metadata standards CORC supports, alongside MARC and Dublin Core.
