Please remember that the deadline for VRA Chicago 2001 (Feb. 27-March 3)
pre-registration is fast approaching!
January 15 has been listed as the (U.S.) postmark deadline, but because of
the Martin Luther King Day holiday, we are extending that to _postmark_
date, January 16, 2001. (That is next Tuesday.)
If your pre-registration is received later than the appropriate postmark,
we cannot guarantee
your registration will be processed prior to the conference. You may be
expected to complete
your registration in person and pay the on-site registration rates.
Please consult the conference web page for more information. You can print
out the necessary forms right from the web page and mail them in!

Additional deadlines are as follows:
Sunday, February 4, 2001: Last day for guaranteed VRA room rates at the
Congress Plaza Hotel (see:
Hotel,Travel and Transportation Page for details.)
Friday, February 9, 2001: Request for refund of conference pre-registration
fee must be received
by the VRA Treasurer (see "Refunds" section for details).
Please complete your pre-registration today--and while you are at it, renew
your membership! Chicago promises to be an exciting and informative
conference--see you all there!
