Members who have never attended the conference/Les membres qui n ont

congreso. Purpose/But/Propssito: To promote participation in ARLIS/NA by
supporting travel for an individual who has not attended the
conference/Difryer le voyage d une personne qui n a pas assisti au
congrhs afin de promouvoir l implication dans ARLIS/NA/Promover la
participacion en la ARLIS/NA financiando el viaje al congreso a alguien
que nunca ha asistido.
Conference Attendance Award
Eligibility / Eligibilite Elegibilidad: Individual members who serve as
committee members, group moderators, and chapter officer / Les membres
individuels, qui sont membres de comitis, prisident(e)s de groupes ou
membres de comitis exicutifs des sections rigionales / Los miembros
individuales quienes sirven como miembros de comiti, jefes de grupos, u
oficiales de secciones. Purpose/But/Propssito: To encourage
participation in ARLIS/NA by assisting conference attendance by
committee members, chapter officers, and moderators, of divisions,
sections, and round tables/Inciter l implication dans ARLIS/NA en aidant
les membres des comitis, les membres de comitis exicutifs des sections
rigionales, et les prisident(e)s des divisions, des groupes et des
tables rondes a assister au congrhs / Promover la participacisn en la
Sociedad para proveer asistencia por parte de los miembros de los

ANDREW CAHAN PHOTOGRAPHY AWARD ($750)
Eligibility/Iligibiliti/ Elegibilidad:
Members who are actively involved in the field of photography through
reference, research, or bibliographic work/Les membres qui sont trhs
impliquis dans le domaine de la photographie par le biais d un travail
de rifirence, de recherche ou de biblio graphie/Los miembros envueltos
activamente en el campo de la fotografia a travis de la referencia, la
investigacisn, o del trabajo bibliografico.
Purpose/But/Propssito: To encourage participation of members active in
the field of photography who could not attend the conference without
financial assistance/Encourager la participation des membres impliquis
dans le domaine de la photographie qui ne pourraient pas assister au
congrhs sans subvention/ Promover la participacisn de los miembros
envueltos en el campo de la fotografia quienes no pudieran asistir al
congreso sin ayuda financiera.
DAVID MIRVISH BOOKS/ BOOKS ON ART ($500CDN)

Canadian members who need assistance to travel and could benefit from
conference participation/Les membres canadiens qui ont besoin d aide
financihre pour voyager et qui pourraient binificier de la participation
au congrhs/Los miembros canadienses quienes necesitan ayuda para viajar

Purpose/But/Propssito: To encourage art librarianship in Canada and
assist a Canadian member to participate in the conference/Promouvoir le

Purpose/But/Propssito: To encourage professional development of art
librarians who reside in Latin America through interaction with ARLIS/NA
colleagues and conference partcipation/Favoriser le diveloppement
professionnel des bibliothicaires d art latino-amiricain(e)s par
l ichange avec leurs collhgues d ARLIS/NA et par leur participation au
congrhs/Alentar el desarollo profesional de bibliotecarios Latino
americanos a travis de la interaccisn con colegas de la ARLIS/NA y la
participacisn en el congreso.
PUVIL LIBROS AWARD ($1000)

who reside in Europe/Les professionel(le)s de l information artistique

viven en Europa.
Purpose/But/Propssito: To encourage professional development of
European art librarians through interaction with ARLIS/NA colleagues and
conference participation/Favoriser le diveloppement professionnel des
biblioticaires europien(ne)s de l art par l ichange avec leurs collhgues
d ARLIS/NA et par leur participation au congrhs/Alentar el desarollo
profesional de bibliotecarios europeos del arte a travis de la
interaccisn con colegas de ARLIS/NA y la participacisan en el congreso.
RESEARCH LIBRARIES GROUP ASIA/OCEANIA AWARD ($1000)
Eligibility/ Iligibiliti/ Elegibilidad: Art information professionals
residing in Asia/Ociania/Les bibliothicaires d art qui risidant en Asie
et Ocianie/Bibliotecarios de artes quienes viven en Asia y Oceania.
Purpose/But/Propssito: To encourage professional development of art
information professionals who reside in Asia/Oceania through interaction
with ARLIS/NA colleagues and conference participation/Favoriers le
diveloppement professionnel des bibliothicaires d art asiatiques ou
oceaniens par l ichange avec leurs colligues d ARLIS/NA et par leur
participation au congrhs/Para alentar desarollos projesionales de
bibliotecarios asiaticos y oceanicos por interaccisn con colegas de
ARLIS/NA y participacisn en el congreso.

1.) A letter of application (one page maximum) stating the name of
award, where you learned of it, why you are eligible, your specific
interest and expectations of the conference, as well as your goals for
professional development. Please list any ARLIS/NA Travel Awards
previously received.
2.) A risumi (one page maximum) listing employment history, education,
and professional activities. Include your FAX number, email address, and
the names of two references with their addresses, phone and FAX numbers
