Security of the Online Registration Form: It has come to the attention of the LA Conference Chairs that some members who have attempted to register for the conference using the online registration form, are receiving a warning message relating to the security of the form. Please read the following message from Headquarters: The registration form for the 2001 conference is submitted in a secure manner via a secure script on the server, there is no need to actually set-up the form on a secure server site, the form information is transmitted via a secure cgi script on our server when the visitor selects the submit button. The message informing the visitor that they have been redirected to an insecure site comes after the submit action and the confirmation page is displayed. The visitor has left the secure script section on the server and is being returned (redirected) to the normal (non-secure) section of the site where the confirmation page is located.
